Is there no discussion of combinations?

Ok, I get it that there is merit to pointing out the strengths. And they do seem to be right on. However, for the money I spent on the book, it seems a bit too basic. It's nothing but an access code to a test and a huge list of definitions. And you only get five that apply to you, so basically you can toss it after you read those. (Not happy about that. Couldn't they tell you what a close 6th and 7th were? For all I know there was a tie.) But what I'm really surprised about is that there is no explanation of the ramifications of the specific COMBINATIONS of these strengths. Of course it isn't unusual to have this or that strength, but what really makes someone unique is the combination of these qualities. I'm really disappointed that there is not a discussion of that anywhere. Wouldn't recommend it in hard cover, no way. Maybe in paperback.
I agree...same problem

I was asked to use this tool from my employer who wants to start developing the strength of their staff members. I however, already told them what my strengths were and I think that mose professionals are well aware of what they are strong in. However, what is needed is the direction to assist people in making something out of the 5 themes and the combinations of those strengths to assist them in carrerr development. Without this it seems to be a useless tool. I am glad that someone else also feels this way.
Combined and percentages of results

Hi
I found that quite often i agreed with both ends of the spectrum and some of the questions were different in different areas of life eg at school and at home and out with friends there could be different answers for eg you enjoy meeting new people/starting new conversations is hard for you It depends where i am whether there is something immediate that i can talk about. etc.
I think they should have all your scores but as percentages so you can see the rest of your strengths (and weaknesses)
Me too...

I started a new job a few months ago. I took this test hoping that it would help me ascertain whether or not I am maximizing my strengths in my new role. I was severely disappointed. I too was looking for a description of my combination of strengths and perhaps some well-known people with similar combinations. I didn't necessarily learn anything new about myself. I really would have appreciated some insight into how to maximize the convergence of these qualities.
