My Top 5
Includer
Positivity
Woo
Communication
Futuristic

I am a college graduate from a 4 year accredited University with a BSBA in Management and Marketing but cannot seem to find the right career for me.

I currently am a mortgage broker and while I love it, it is not a stable source of income. I want to start a life with a mate and possibly children in the near future. I am already thinking ahead about my income and how I feel that it would be more feasible having a base salary rather than a line chart full of, "ups and downs" due to the real estate market.

Thanks!

Also another note.

I tend to start working at jobs and do very, very well at them and am normally one of the top-producer's. Then I get almost bored with it and move onto another job...

I have four of your five... I am: includer, woo, positivity, communication, and activator... I am surprised that you were not an activator as well being that you said that you would get sick of a job and want to move on.

I am in HR and love it! During my undergrad, I knew I wanted to do business but wasn't sure which area was right for me. I was really fortunate to have some friends in HR and that is how I fell into it. I think with your fives strengths, HR is definitely an area you should look into. It seems as if you enjoy working with others and are also good at it.

HR is challenging and engaging. I also get bored with tasks unless they are challenging and changing from time to time. I think in many areas of business, you can be stuck doing one job over and over again, but in HR, you never know what to expect. Things vary from day to day and you never know what is coming next. HR is more of a science, it is not cut and dry like other areas. There are so many factors you must look at when making strategic HR decisions.

Now which area of HR is another question... you can generalize or specialize in an area such as recruiting, compensation, learning and development, benefits, strategic hr, employee relations, or union relations. If you are interested, this is something you should look more into.

Hope this helps!
