Hello:

I just took Strength's Finder for the first time and came out with the following strengths:

Empathy
Strategic
Input
Ideation
Connectedness

I welcome ideas on the best career(s) to employ these kinds of strengths? Any insights on this mixture of strengths?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I am in a career transition, so I am less focused on a specific job title but more on the area(s) that can fit my areas of strengths. Thanks if you can help.

I think that first of all it's of paramount importance to understand that the assessment results reveal your most natural tendencies of thoughts, feelings and behaviour...it the "how you function" not necessarily so my advice to you would be firstly find out what your passions are. What would you like to spend your energy building into? Find out how that could contribute to the bigger picture and then once you know What you want to do, your StrengthsFinder assessment results help you understand How you can approach it. Remember that it is the end result that it is very important to define, not the process taken to get there.

More than anything else we need to know what drives us. Once you have a clear understanding of your passion, applying yourself to that helps. So when it comes to choosing a career first ask yourself what you care about, what would you like to spend your time building into and then sort out the how to by applying your strengths to that.

When we are motivated to engage in something we are more productive.
